DESCRIPTION:Highland Park will hold an in-person\, safe worship service in the Highland Park Sanctuary on Easter Sunday\, April 4th. Sign up at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c49aaaf22a7f5c25-easter\n\n\n\nWe are asking that all in attendance wear a mask\, enter the sanctuary from the Atrium door or the door on the north side of the building\, and remain 6-feet from those not in your household. Greeters stationed at each door will send you to the correct entrance and then another greeter in the Narthex will send you to the correct place to sit in the Sanctuary. Available seating will be spaced out and clearly labeled. We also ask that you perform a self-assessment on the morning of the service\, and if you display any of the symptoms\, we ask you to join us online in worship instead of coming to the church.

DESCRIPTION:The first Sunday of each month we share the Lord’s Table with communion and ask those in attendance at church to share the blessings of their table by bringing non-perishable donations for a local food Pantry. For Easter Sunday\, in lieu of bringing flowers to adorn a wooden cross\, we are asking folks to bring enough donations to fill up our paper cross! Our friends at Micah 6 always appreciate our help keeping the pantry stocked with canned tuna\, canned chicken\, canned and dried beans\, peanut butter\, fruit cups\, cereal\, canned chili\, rice\, pasta\, and so much more. Thank you in advance for your generosity .

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 7\, we are participating in the 2021 CROP Hunger Walk to support Church World Services and help families who are struggling with hunger. In addition to this important cause\, the Highland Park Missions group is also hosting a Balcones Drive Clean-up simultaneously. Team members will walk their CROP Walk while picking up trash and recycling on the church’s block. Our walk that day will provide greater food security in communities around the world and “Keep Austin Beautiful”!  \n\nWe’re asking you to join us at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/2021/team/the-church-highland-park. Sign up to walk or donate online. Checks may also be mailed to the church with the memo ‘CROP Walk’.  \nCome to the church anytime on March 7 from 12:30 – 3 p.m. where we’ll have grabbers and safety vests for those who’d like to pick up trash on the streets nearby the church.

DESCRIPTION:Highland Park offers an outdoor service on Sunday mornings. Those who feel comfortable are invited to come to the church and find a parking spot or socially-distant square. Masks are strongly encouraged for all above the age of 2. There are tables along the side of the area where you can pick up your bulletin and other worship elements. DESCRIPTION:The church will have an outdoor Imposition of Ashes on Ash Wednesday\, February 17\, 2021. You are invited to gather at the front of the property: you may remain parked in your car or find a chair pre-set in socially distant circles. Rev. Cheryl Kimble will deliver a homily and come to each group to place a sign of the cross on each person’s forehead with ashes. If you do not feel comfortable receiving ashes\, you may cross your arms in front of you\, and the pastor will not approach you. Masks are required for all in attendance.
