Director of Operations

Kathy Stanley graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Business Administration. She has just completed 24 years of work with the Renaissance Women's Group, a great group of OB/Gyns. While she has had several roles over the years, her main role was managing the Business Office. She began her role as Director of Operations in July of 2021, and as such, Kathy wears many hats. She assists the ministerial staff in their duties and goals and helps prepare items for Worship. She oversees the operations of the office, helps maintain many of the ministries of the church, and assists with maintenance of the building. She also oversees the internal communications of the church with emails, newsletters, and prayer lists, and is available to help members or visitors with church-related issues. Kathy is also the liaison between the church and outside groups, handling the rental operations of the building, and she serves as the chartered organization representative for the four scouting groups @ HP.
Kathy has been a member of the Church @ Highland Park since 1990, and has volunteered in many capacities over the last 31 years. Kathy has helped plan and organize VBS, family retreats, marriage retreats, family campouts and Womanfest. She has also participated on Mission Trips, sponsored Children and Youth camps, cooked Wednesday night meals and taught Sunday School in the Children's department. The Church @ Highland Park is a central part of Kathy's faith journey.
Kathy's three daughters and their families are the joys of her life. Her 7 grandkids are wonderful. Just ask her! Kathy looks forward to her new role in helping to facilitate the ministries of The Church @ Highland Park.
