As we think about how we experience this season through our senses, your HP Staff came together to make a list of what we think of during Advent: Hot Chocolate, Harry Connick Jr., mulled wine, Christmas cookies, turkey and dressing, smell of a fresh cut tree, ornaments collected over many years, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, twinkling Christmas lights, fudge, candles, crowded stores, final exams, the movie White Christmas, tamales, Christmas Eve service candle scare, torn wrapping paper chaos, football and Rose Bowl Parade, Momma’s gumbo recipe, treasured nativity sets…….
