It’s that time of year again, for the annual NAMI Walk! Each year, The Church at Highland Park sponsors a team to take part. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI’s mission is close to the heart of HP and its members. ALL people are uniquely created in the image of God and deserve love and acceptance! NAMI is a fantastic representation of that eternal truth.
The team is headed up by Becky Dillard, who is very passionate about this issue! We would love for you to sign up to either walk, or to donate money if you can’t do so. We often walk together, and Becky will be sure to communicate to everyone where to meet and how to walk together. It’s great fun, and all the proceeds go to a fantastic cause.
It takes place on Saturday morning, September 30 from 7:30am-12pm at The Long Center for the Performing Arts.
