Vacation Bible School @ Highland Park is a treasured week for both the children ages 4 through completed 5th grade that attend and the adults who help make it happen. We look forward to a week together from June 1-5, 2026. We are happy to announce extended hours, from 9am-2pm, (Friday 9am-12pm)! The cost is $50 per student for non-members.

The theme this year is Quest for the Kingdom! Your children will learn what the kingdom of God is like, as Jesus described it through parables:

Day 1: God’s Kingdom is Full of Hope! (Parable of the Yeast)
Day 2: God’s Kingdom is Just! (Parable of The Good Samaritan)
Day 3: In God’s Kingdom, You Matter! (The Parable of the Lost Sheep)
Day 4: God’s Kingdom is Nutured! (The Parable of the Sower)
Day 5: God’s Kingdom is For Everyone! (The Parable of the Feast)

Vacation Bible School always includes Bible lessons, crafts, games, snacks, indoor/outdoor games, and music! We will end the week with a performance of the songs they have learned in the Fellowship Hall for parents at noon.

As a note, we do NOT utitlize any pre-written Vacation Bible School material. A staff minister wrote everything from scratch using progressive and inclusive theology.
