The season of Lent is a solemn time of preparation and focus where we remember Jesus’ 40 days of fasting and temptation in the desert before beginning his public ministry. This Lent, the worship team has prepared a theme of “What Wondrous Love” as we recall the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made at Easter. This morning, Rev. Cheryl Kimble will preach on Mark 1:9-15 also recalling the baptism of Christ, and Kristin Werner sings a solo with Ash Wednesday themes.
