Before the pandemic…and hopefully after the pandemic…this weekly men’s group meets every Friday at 7:00 a.m. at the Austin Diner at 5222 Burnet Rd. The group supports a variety of local, regional, and worldwide missions with donations and welcomes men of all ages to join them for breakfast and fellowship.

“The Men’s Prayer Breakfast began on August 2, 1991, meeting every Friday with a few exceptions since that time. Men of the church gather every Friday morning at seven, and they tell stories, discuss current and historic events, and touch concerns. A donation is made for the breakfast and that collection has donated $41,448.80 charities as of December 20, 2019. A closing prayer at eight sends men off to work or retirement. A meaningful time is had by all.” – Fred Worley
