The River Ministry connects Highland Park across the Rio Grande to the Benjamin Franklin School and the Casa Hogar Bethesda orphanage in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. This long-time mission has supported the school with visits and read-alouds, funds for scholarships, new desks, and bilingual books for the Biblioteca Kitty Worley. The missions has supported the orphanage with gifts of clothing, fresh food, and friendship.
Donations may be made year-round to this missions, with special thanks to the Worley family who remains so devoted to this River Ministry.
